Privacy Policy — ROZUM Meta Pilot

1. Summary (TL;DR)

• You sign in with your ROZUM account. We never see your Meta password.
• Your Meta ad data is fetched via Zernio (a Meta Marketing Partner) on demand and cached server-side to power the extension.
• The extension itself stores only one thing locally: an authentication token in chrome.storage.local.
• AI analyses run on our server using OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini by default). We do not retain the prompt text after the analysis completes.
• No third-party analytics, no trackers, no ad SDKs, no selling of data.

2. Who We Are

ROZUM Systems (“we”, “us”) publishes the ROZUM Meta Pilot browser extension and the companion application at rozum.one. Contact: hello@rozum.one.

3. What the Extension Stores Locally

Authentication token

After you sign in with your ROZUM account, a long-lived token is saved in chrome.storage.local. This token is the only piece of data the extension stores on your device. It is opaque (a random 256-bit string prefixed ext_), not your password, and cannot be used to read other ROZUM data outside the Meta Pilot scopes.

Clear it any time by uninstalling the extension, or via chrome://extensions → ROZUM Meta Pilot → Details → Site settings → Clear data.

4. Data the Extension Reads from Servers

Your ROZUM account info

Name, email, and trial-quota counters (number of AI analyses used). Used solely to render the popup UI.

Your Meta ad data via Zernio

When you click “Connect Meta Ads”, you authorize Zernio (a verified Meta Marketing Partner) to access your Meta ad accounts on our behalf. Zernio holds the Meta OAuth tokens; we never see them directly.

We fetch the following from Zernio and cache it server-side for fast UI rendering:

• Ad-account metadata (name, currency, time zone)
• Campaign and ad-set structure (names, status, objectives)
• Performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS)
• Creative URLs (image/video thumbnails) for the leaderboard view

We do not retrieve, store, or process personal data of the people who saw or clicked on your ads.

AI analysis payloads

When you click “🤖 AI-аналіз”, we send a summary of your account-level metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, top 10 campaigns) to OpenAI's API for processing. By design OpenAI does not train models on API traffic. We do not retain the prompt text after the API call completes; only the returned insights and aggregate cost statistics are persisted.

5. What We Do NOT Collect

• Your Meta or Facebook password (we never see it)
• Personal data of users who saw/clicked your ads
• Your browsing history outside the extension itself
• No analytics or telemetry (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Sentry)
• No third-party advertising trackers
• No selling or sharing of any data with third parties for marketing

7. Trial & Billing

Each token (i.e., each device sign-in) gets 10 free AI analyses. After that, you can either continue using the connection list (no AI) or upgrade to a paid ROZUM plan via rozum.one/dashboard/billing. Per-token quota tracking is on our side; the extension only renders the counter.

8. Your Rights

You can:

• Disconnect any Meta ad account via the ROZUM dashboard. We revoke the Zernio link immediately.
• Sign out of the extension via the “Logout” button. Token is wiped from chrome.storage.local.
• Delete your account at rozum.one/dashboard → Account → Delete. All your data is purged within 30 days.
• Email hello@rozum.one to request an export or manual deletion. We respond within 30 days.

9. Data Storage & Retention

All ROZUM data is stored on servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Nuremberg). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (LUKS / cloud-managed disk encryption). Backup retention: 7 days. Account-deletion request: purge within 30 days from all primary stores and 90 days from backups.

10. Subprocessors

We use the following third parties to operate the service:

• Zernio — Meta Marketing Partner API for ad-data access. Their privacy policy.
• OpenAI — LLM provider for AI analyses (gpt-4o-mini by default). Their API data-usage policy.
• Hetzner — server infrastructure (EU data center).

11. Children

ROZUM Meta Pilot is a B2B tool not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly handle data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be announced on rozum.one/extensions/meta-pilot before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
